I’ll admit, it’s been a while since I last worked on this book and it’s been sat in the press for nearly three months – at least it’s nice and flat.
Time to move onto the next part, sewing together the sections I had previously created using kettle stitches. I already had some waxed thread to use (although in hindsight, I should have used some thinner thread).
The Book Binding instructions were very clear and straight forward, though it’s obvious I need some practice to make the tension tighter.
Once sewn up, the sections have gone back into the press overnight ready for the next stage tomorrow.
