My First Project (Stage 2)

Time to start work on the decorative parts of the cover.

I decided to keep close to the original cover design. It’s such a classic, after all! The tricky part was recreating all the little details. Armed with my trusty Silhouette machine and a good dose of determination, I set about cutting out those super fiddly letters. Honestly, it felt like a battle at times (who’d have thought white letters, cut out on a white background, would be so complicated…), but it was totally worth it in the end.

Seeing everything come together and fit perfectly was such a satisfying moment!

Now all that is left to do is attach the text block into the cover. Sounds like a job for tomorrow!
